The paintings in this gallery span thirty years, covering the period from 1977 to 2006. The difference in the directions of my work is obvious with each image centering on the emotions I had at the time. I saw the images in the eye of my mind and made marks to represent them.
The inspiration came, and still comes from visual stimulus, a landscape or a living composition of people or from my imagination. For me, painting or drawing has no value unless it is full of an emotion transfered from the artist to the paper, canvas or board or as a three dimensional object.
